TROPICAL WOOD FROM THE AMAZON

CURAUÁ

Our coffee is 100% organic Robusta grown in agroforestry in the Brazilian Amazon, our beans are transformed into a full-bodied and harmonious drink. The shady planting, amidst the trees, guarantees more quality and flavor to the coffee. In addition to the unique Amazonian terroir, this coffee is one of the alternatives to keep the forest standing, generate income for farmers in the region and recover deforested areas. From the variety known as Robusta, or Conilon, our coffee finds the ideal combination for cultivation in the hot and humid climate of the Amazon. With dark cultivation and integrated with trees and other species native to the Amazon rainforest, our Agroflorestal results in larger and sweeter fruits when compared to other coffees of the Robusta species, therefore being quite tasty on the palate, with acidity and a balanced body.

The Brazil nut is a nut originating in Brazil, more specifically from the Amazon region, with the main producing state today being Amazonas. For this reason, and also for commercial reasons (export, for example), the name “Brazil nut” has been used more recently.

Even today, its extraction is done directly in nature, from native trees, as is the case with the extraction of rubber from rubber trees, only more recently have Brazil nut-producing trees begun to be cultivated in a sustainable way in an attempt to maintain and increase its production in the country.

The reason why its production needs to be maintained through the cultivation of nut trees on farms is that recently nut production has been falling, one of the reasons for this being the deforestation that occurs in the Amazon region.

The biggest challenge today, however, in relation to this cultivation is that it is still too early to predict whether there will be success in the sustainable cultivation of chestnut trees or not. Abroad it is also known as Brazil Nut or Para Nut and is a seed with a high fat and protein content. Its oil is also used in the manufacture of hair products and, in addition, it has several characteristics that can greatly benefit your health.

Dried or dehydrated fruits are a good option for consuming healthy foods, in a practical and convenient way, in small portions, suitable for eating on the go or in different places and situations. The desiccation process can be in the sun or in greenhouses with hot air. We already have Amazonian fruits available for sale: açaí powder, cupuaçu powder, cubiu, guaraná powder, bacuri, pineapple, banana. And it's just the beginning.

The dairy sector includes industries producing milk (pasteurized, UHT sterilized, with aromas or other specific characteristics), cheese, butter, yogurt and other derivatives such as cream, concentrated whey and dulce de leche. Also producing with buffalo milk.

Roasted organic guarana powder is a special product, made naturally and sustainably. It comes from local producers who have been cultivating guaraná for a long time, using traditional methods that respect nature.

Guaraná is a plant that grows on trees in the forest, seeking sunlight. When ripe, its fruit opens and reveals black seeds with a white coating, which look like "eyes".

This special guaraná comes from the Maués region, in Amazonas, and is cultivated by traditional communities. It is planted together with other trees in the forest, helping to preserve nature and guaranteeing the quality of the final product.

Guarana powder is organic, that is, it does not contain pesticides or other chemicals. Furthermore, it does not contain preservatives, which guarantees a more natural flavor and aroma. The roasting process is done very carefully to maintain all its beneficial properties.
